La città più vicina (a soli 2 km) è Treviso, spesso definita una delle "Piccole Venezia" per i suoi canali con edifici che sorgono direttamente dall'acqua, nonché per i leoni tipicamente veneziani sulle sue porte. È una città d'altri tempi con strade strette, molte delle quali fiancheggiate da portici, ed è ancora circondata da mura del XV secolo ben conservate. Prendetevi del tempo per passeggiare lungo le mura, o almeno per vedere le tre principali porte d'accesso alla città, Porta San Tommaso, Porta Santi Quaranta e Porta Altinia. Da Porta San Tommaso, costruita nel 1518 all'angolo nord-est di Treviso, si può camminare lungo il bastione settentrionale, da dove si aprono bellissimi panorami sulle Alpi.I canali e le mura ne fanno una piacevole cittadina in cui passeggiare e ammirare i numerosi affreschi che decorano le facciate delle case.
