The almost 40 square meter apartment is located on the garden side in the lowest level of the building. It consists of a combined living room/bedroom, a friendly indoor bathroom with a shower and bath and a small fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. The windows of the apartment overlook the garden and a few steps lead to the red-brick terrace. Here you sit in the shade of the red columns of the back balconies and enjoy the morning sun at breakfast, from here you have a beautiful view of the garden of the former Spanish embassy. You can use the terrace alone. The apartment is perfect for 1 person, as a place to sleep is a comfortable double bed available (lying area 160 x 200 cm) which allows to sleep in with two person. A desk by the window offers space to work, a small cozy seating group invites you to read. Also in this apartment is - as in all apartments - a direct and fast connection to the Internet (LAN and W-LAN / WiFi, free, subject to availability). The kitchen is fully equipped for four people, including oven, stove, dishwasher, and a fridge freezer. The kitchen is not directly accessible from the apartment, but over the small entrance hall, from which still another room goes off, which is currently used as a one-person office and not rented. The hallway is shared. The access to the apartment is in the beautiful protected courtyard of the house, which can be reached via a gate. Once used by carriages, this passage to the street is secured by a wrought-iron grille. The building is also decorated with stucco on the back so that even in the inner courtyard there is a corresponding atmosphere of the Wilhelminian era. Here you can park safely and covered bicycles. Location The apartment is centrally located in the south of Bonn at the botanical garden and the Poppelsdorfer Schloss. The Südstadt is the most sought-after district in Bonn. Centrally located near the city centre, it is nevertheless very quiet, and in summer it is cool in the tree-lined streets. There are lively shopping areas and quiet residential streets, almost all houses have beautiful stuccoed facades. There are restaurants, cafés, bakeries, several supermarkets, doctors and all shops of daily life. Everything is within walking distance. The Poppelsdorfer Castle as well as the botanical garden of the university and the nearby forest on the Venusberg complete the picture. The location of the house in the Südstadt is perfect: It takes about ten minutes to walk to the main station and the city centre. The university ("Campus Poppelsdorf") is in the immediate vicinity, and numerous scientific institutes as well as many university facilities and faculties can be reached on foot. Es besteht aus einem kombinierten Wohn-Schlafraum, einem freundlichen Innenbad mit Dusche und Badewanne sowie einer kleinen komplett ausgestatteten Küche mit Essplatz. Die Fenster des Apartments gehen zum Garten hinaus, über ein paar Stufen erreichen Sie die aus roten Backsteinen gemauerte Terrasse. Hier sitzen Sie im Schatten der roten Säulen der rückwärtigen Balkone und genießen beim Frühstück die Morgensonne, von hier aus haben Sie einen schönen Blick in den Garten der ehemaligen Spanischen Botschaft. Die Terrasse können Sie alleine nutzen. Die Wohnung ist perfekt für 1 Personen, als Schlafplatz steht ein bequemes Doppelbett zur Verfügung (Liegefläche 160 x 200 cm), in dem auch zwei Personen übernachtn können. Ein Schreibtisch am Fenster bietet Platz zum Arbeiten, eine kleine gemütliche Sitzgruppe lädt zum Lesen ein. Auch in diesem Apartment besteht – so wie in allen Apartments – eine direkte und schnelle Verbindung zum Internet (LAN und W-LAN/WiFi, kostenlos, je nach Verfügbarkeit). Die Küche ist für vier Personen komplett ausgestattet, inklusive Backofen, Herd, Geschirrspüler, sowie einer Kühl-/Gefrierkombination. Die Küche ist nicht direkt von der Wohnung aus zu erreichen, sondern über den kleinen Eingangsflur, von dem noch ein weiteres Zimmer abgeht, das derzeit als Ein-Personen-Büro selbst genutzt und nicht vermietet wird. Der Flur wird gemeinsam genutzt. Der Zugang zu dem Apartment befindet sich im schönen geschützten Innenhof des Hauses, der über eine Tordurchfahrt zu erreichen ist. Dieser früher von Kutschen genutzte Durchgang zur Straße ist durch ein schmiedeeisernes Gitter gesichert. Das Gebäude ist auch auf der Rückseite stuckverziert, sodass selbst im Innenhof eine der Gründerzeit entsprechende Atmosphäre herrscht. Hier kann man sicher und überdacht Fahrräder abstellen. Lage Das Apartment befindet sich zentral in der Bonner Südstadt am botanischen Garten und am Poppelsdorfer Schloss. Die Südstadt ist das begehrteste Stadtviertel in Bonn. Zentral nahe der Innenstadt gelegen, ist es trotzdem sehr ruhig, und im Sommer ist es in den mit Bäumen gesäumten Straßen kühl. Hier gibt lebendige Einkaufszonen und ruhige Wohnstraßen, fast alle Häuser haben herrliche stuckverzierte Fassaden. Es gibt Restaurants, Cafés, Bäckereien, mehrere Supermärkte, Ärzte und alle Geschäfte des täglichen Lebens. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Poppelsdorfer Schloss sowie der botanische Garten der Universität und der nahe Wald auf dem Venusberg runden das Bild ab.
