Die Natur, der Davosweg und der Schwarzwald sind ebenfalls fussläufig in 5-10 erreichbar. Außerdem ist das am Fluß gelegene schöne Dillweissensteiner Freibad in der Nähe. Fussläufig sind außerdem ein Edeka und ein Nahkauf, einige sehr gute Restaurants und Essmöglichkeiten. In der Innenstadt und in der nahen Umgebung sind auch Apotheken, Ärzte und alles andere Notwendige ist schnell zu erreichen. Die Buslinien 3 und 7 haben in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Haltestation.
