prevendo aldeamentos turísticos, hotel de apartamentos e equipamentos para um total de 588 unidades de alojamento com 2429 camas e área bruta total de 142.842 m2.Aplicando-se sumariamente os índices de edificabilidade que os zonamentos referentes às áreas de Espaços consolidados, Espaços Urbanizáveis, Espaços Industriais permitem, obtemos aproximadamente:
- Habitação - 62 062,00m2 de área bruta de construção
- Outros usos - 80 778,00m2 de área bruta de construção
(Serviços, Comércio, Indústria, Logística, outros) Num total de - 142 842,00 m2 Em sede de revisão do PDM, foi obtida a informação junto dos serviços da Câmara de Setúbal de que existe a intenção de integrar a Herdade em Área de Vocação Turística (AVT) o que pressupõe a criação nessas áreas de Núcleos de Desenvolvimento Turístico (NDT).A região tornou-se um destino turístico de excelência graças à natureza protegida dos Parques Naturais da Arrábida e Marinho D. Luis Saldanha, à Reserva Natural do Estuário do Sado, à Paisagem Protegida da Arriba Fóssil da Caparica, às excelentes infra-estruturas Turísticas e ao património edificado, igualmente rico em diversidade e importância histórica, estando em curso o reconhecimento da Arrábida como Património Natural e Cultural da Humanidade.A Península de Setúbal tem uma área de 1.421 Km² e abrange nove concelhos, onde vivem 782 044 pessoas.Do Parque Natural da Arrábida, à Reserva Natural do Estuário do Tejo. De Setúbal, a Sesimbra. Da Moita, a Palmela, Alcochete e Montijo. São quilómetros de tesouros naturais, arquitetónicos e gastronómicos que constituem uma das regiões mais ricas de Portugal.A Península de Setúbal apresenta dois tipos de paisagens. Uma caracteriza-se pelo seu relevo mais acentuado com vinhas plantadas em solos argiloso-calcários, entre os 100 e os 500 metros, aproveitando as encostas da Serra da Arrábida que as protegem do oceano Atlântico.A outra tipologia paisagística, que representa cerca de 80% do total da região, abrange terras planas ou com suaves ondulações, raramente ultrapassando os 150 metros de altura.
