Spread out over the park, there are several playgrounds and sports fields so that the children can always look for something new. The water paradise is a playground where fun with water provides the necessary cooling down during hot days. For real swimming fun, you can visit the outdoor swimming pool next to the park. As a guest of the Roggeberg, the entrance to the pool is free. But where should the children go when the weather is not that great? No worries. The indoor playground is the ideal place in that case. Moreover, the animation team always has a nice program from April to October and during the school holidays.

Appelscha is located directly near National Park Drents Friese Wold. This is one of Europe's most beautiful nature reserves. This nature reserve is so beautiful because of its great diversity. These detached 8-person bungalows are located at the edge of the park and offer have a view of forests, fens and heathland. The pleasant living room is characterized by large windows, so you can also enjoy this view from inside. You have four double bedrooms with comfortable single box-spring beds at your disposal. These could or could not be set up in a 2-person setup. If the group is a little bigger, it's nice that there are two bathrooms. The terrace is located on the sunny south and is equipped with garden furniture.
